There is a workshop near Yakata Beach in Kujukuri Beach, Chiba Prefecture. In a place rich in nature where you can hear the sound of waves, the voice of insects, and the chirping of bird, we strive to create fun works while valuing the gentle facial expressions that are unique to the blown glass technique. It is a handmade item that has been carefully finished one by one. I am active as a couple and live happily with two children and one dog.
Born in Osaka in 1975. Raised in Tokyo. He began to be interested in glass while he was a student at Hosei University's Faculty of Sociology, and began to study at the glass studio Glass Maniacs in Tokyo. I fell in love with glass, and after graduating from university, I went on to Toyama City Toyama Glass Modeling Research Institute. While attending school, he studied under Brian Pike, who came to Japan as a visiting professor from Seattle, USA. After graduating from Toyama Glass, studied under glass artist Shunji Omura. After that, he gained experience with EZRA GLASS STUDIO, Toyama City Toyama Glass Modeling Research Institute Assistant, Nishinaka Yukito GLASS STUDIO, 3116 GALLERY, etc., and established a studio in 2010. Even now, in addition to presenting his works at galleries and department stores, he continues his energetic activities such as product development, stage space production using lampshades, and collaboration.
