The core idea is to capture the sparkling moment of fireworks, a.k.a. Hanabe in Japanese Culture.To create our Hanabe Jewellery, it requires mathematics, structure, craftmanship and designer's aesthetic. We apply semi-precious stones as well as our famous organic gems (cultured pearls/natural amber/coral) We hope to keep creating beautiful things for Urban Flaneur.

An independent crafter since 2009, The Gal Who Sold Tora has a wide range of creations from twee to luxe. She put focuses on creating jewellery with a natural edge. Main elements of her creation are baroque pearls, rough gems and sparkling swarovski crystals. These works are all created with low-allergic 925 sterling silver. Her works are favourited by a lot of girls & ladies who look for minimal jewel pieces on their beautiful evening gowns or causal working wear.

Apart from joining local handmade markets, she has participated in the Asia's Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair as a jewellery designer during 2015 and 2018. Her works are also exhibited in the AFLP Fashion Access Exhibition in March 2016 & 2017. In 2017, she visited Taipei and participated in the POPUPASIA design expo. She also attended Pinkoi X Ocean Park Festive Marketplace in 2017.

As an independent crafter, the whole creation process is done by myself. To ensure quality and uniqueness of my works, I travel often to source interesting materials for my creation. Over 90% of the materials are personally hand-picked from Korea, China, Hong Kong and other parts of the world (Depends on where I travel to ).

My design are minimal yet contemporary. Pearls and gems are beautiful gifts from nature. I love working with natural elements as it may physically vary according to season and weather. With adequate care, one can wear it for many years and wear it for various occasions. I love to create pieces with multi functions.

All pieces are made by myself, as craftsmanship injects aura to the pieces. Good craftsmanship leads to durability and aesthetics. It also helps me to understand each of my pieces and amend the design if any problems discovered.

These objectives, namely, Contemporary, Craftsmanship and quality has always reminded me to create beautiful and heartfelt jewellery, and made my pieces favoured by my customers very well.
