About ORINGO
As the second generation of shoe manufacturer, Ringo Tseng, grew up in an environment of shoemaking during the hay day of footwear industry in Taiwan. At that time, Taiwanese shoemakers inherited sophisticated shoemaking skills from Japan, thus Taiwan became a major quality assurance for shoemaking country as Italy.
Many years later, Taiwan footwear industry became to decline, and the exquisite handmade technique was not the primary requirement for making a nice pair of dress shoes. For this reason we started thinking about whether we can revive the Belle Époque of handmade shoes of Taiwan and for skilled shoemakers to regain their new career － this is why we funded O'Ringo in 2006.

O'Ringo shoes are made by skilled Taiwanese shoemakers. They produce perfectly fitted shoes with years of experiences on the elaborate methods and attention to details. Especially for the method of making the genuine leather sole, it is time-consuming and requires perfected handmade techniques to produce. From taking the measurements, stitching, shoe banding to de- lasting, the entire process will take about twenty-five days to complete - It is the ultimate handicraft shoemaking.

Selection of Fine Material
If the craftsmanship is the soul of shoes, a nice choice of leather is to enable the soul to manifest. O'Ringo uses aniline tanning genuine leather, which is coated leather can not be compared with. In order to achieve the best comfort, a leather insole with added latex pad and with cowhide or pigskin as the shoe lining, can easily reduce foot pressure after long standing, also feel comfortable and breathable.

A variety of lasts
A good last provides higher degree of fit and comfort, which require precise measurement on the shape of the feet by experienced shoemakers. O'Ringo designs a verity of shoe lasts and adapts American and European classic design elements into shoe style. Customers can be assured that O'Ringo shoes are sleek and comfortable to wear.
