The founder of MERCI, James- saw the Moai statues on the National Geographic Channel for the first time. He was curious about his mystery. It is said that they were built by the Polynesians who lived there a thousand years ago to commemorate their ancestors. , which symbolizes that moai can bring good luck, and the feeling of the thousand-year-old ruins is as dreamy as the patron saint of the island. In particular, the expression can't be forgotten once you see it. But the expression is a serious and impatient world-weary expression, which modern people find quite amusing and healing.

The first time I came into contact with moai products was when I was shopping at Costco 4 years ago. I saw a moai statue of about 100cm on sale. I was very excited but didn’t act immediately. I wanted to buy it afterwards but it was sold out. Design shop, I can’t forget the moai stone statues. I found that it would be a good idea to combine products. I specially found a factory in Taiwan to start cooperative production. I made the first moai Tissue Box, which was well received. So far, merci has been working hard to design And cooperate with various styles of moai products, such as small ornaments from 15cm to 200cm, Tissue Box, mobile phone cases, piggy bank, luggage, stereos, ashtrays, pen holders, magnets and other products.
