I am Marina Babikova, the founder and creator of M A R C L O.
The idea of creating a brand was born at the moment when my family moved to a small town in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra in Russia. In this region, the indigenous peoples of this region - the Khanty and Mansi - are honored and supported by the local authorities and the population. Life in the midst of nature instilled in these peoples a reverence for it, spiritualized their culture of life with a rational attitude towards what it gives.
M A R C L O today is the steps to create a line of clothing made from natural fabrics. In the production of which the harm to our nature is minimized. The problem of ecology is especially relevant in our modern time, when a large volume of synthetic
garments are produced in the fashion world.
In its models, M A R C L O uses quality-tested natural fabrics. They have a pleasant to the body soft breathable texture. For example, the linen that we use, thanks to a special treatment at the factory producing it in Belarus, does not shrink when washed, and already has a wrinkled noble effect, which by nature is already characteristic of natural linen.
Each design of the model is thought out in such a way that its owner feels all the advantages in wearing it. For example, we designed basic linen sundresses in such a way that its owner could wear it also without outerwear and feel confident at the
same time. All M A R C L O models are made by craftsmen in a small local workshop.

How a hobby turns into a passion...
Moments from childhood were clearly engraved in my memory: how I cut out dolls from paper and drew clothes for them, imagined myself as a designer: how I experienced tactile sensations, passing my hand over fabrics in stores, imagined a dance dress from them, since I attended a dance club and I had to have beautiful costumes for performances ... I grew up ... I graduated from high school and the question arose of entering a university. Well, and, of course, I entered the "prestigious" at that time "economist", studied and got a job (of course, not in my specialty) ...
But, one day, the moment came when I stopped from the eternal race of life, from the weekday "groundhog days" in the "work-home-work" mode, and I remembered what I truly enjoy - it is to experience the feeling when it is created a piece of clothing to the sound of a walking foot of a sewing machine ... I studied a course on designing clothes, began to understand fabrics and away we go ...
MARCLO today is a step towards creating a women's clothing line from natural light and tactilely pleasant fabrics such as linen, cotton, silk.
Wearing a dress from my brand, I want the girl to have associations with the caressing summer wind, with the warm sandy beach, with happiness...
MARCLO HOME is a line of kitchen textiles made from natural soft linen. I want the owners of the house, using my textiles, to feel the atmosphere of good friendly comfort in their home and teach their children to take care of our nature.
