L&R Antiques and Curiosa is a brand founded by two good friends from the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. L&R is the abbreviation of their surnames. It mainly sells small antique furniture, porcelain, various bronzes, paintings and other old items imported from the Netherlands.

Sietse and Paul are good friends who met when they were abroad. They came to Taiwan together to work and develop. After learning about Taiwanese culture and falling in love with this land, they decided to start a business together. They also hope to introduce European culture and the history of antiques to Taiwanese people through the sale of antiques.

The "Loff" family has a long history in the Giethoorn area. Dutch owner Sietse Loff grew up in Wanneperveen, a neighbouring town in Giethoorn. His father worked for the national park in the area and also refurbished antique furniture for local clients. As a teenager, Sietse Loff worked as a tour guide in Giethoorn, taking tourists around the village on small boats and introducing the local history.

Sietse Loff has lived in Taiwan for 20 years. His father loves Taiwan as much as he does and comes to Taiwan every year to travel by bicycle with him (Sietse Loff).
