Isutoisu is a brand of natural dyed clothing that creates "blissful everyday wear" using natural materials and vegetable dyes. We take our time to complete the entire process, from planning to sewing and dyeing, with our own hands. Experience the depth of the colors obtained from plants and the warmth of handwork in our clothing that will fit into your everyday life.
In response to customer requests for clothes that were dyed with natural dyes, and our desire to make cool T-shirts, we launched the natural dye brand "Isuto Isuto" in 2017. Today, we produce a wide range of products, from apparel to leg wear such as socks and baby products.
Since the product is hand-dyed and hand-sewn, it takes several days to complete.
Although we cannot mass produce our products, we do carefully craft and finish each and every piece.

All of Isuto's clothes are dyed using "plant dyes." This is also known as "plant dyeing." Many of the plants are used in traditional Chinese medicine, and clothes dyed with natural colors are very comfortable to wear. We only use these natural dyes for dyeing. The colors of plants are very deep and the possibilities are endless.
-Reasons for dyeing with plants-
Not only are the colors cool, but the dyed fabric becomes softer and more supple, giving it a texture reminiscent of "used clothing" in a good way. It is less durable than chemical dyes, but it is rich in character and can be worn with the feeling of "nurturing the color." The complex intertwining of colors and the texture are the charms of plant dyeing.
[Material]
Because we use vegetable dyes, we are limited to natural materials. We mainly choose fabrics based on cotton. Among them, organic cotton is the best for expressing the depth of color of the vegetable dyes.
The cotton material is gentle on the skin and feels comfortable all year round. We are constantly experimenting with fabrics that will bring out the unique texture of the plant dyeing. The way the fabric is woven can completely change the way it looks and feels. We hope you will enjoy this interesting experience.

The concept of the design is "a timeless design that will never fade, no matter the era." The silhouettes are inspired by shapes that have been loved for a long time, and vintage clothes from overseas. When creating patterns, the most important thing is "comfort."
We consider various aspects such as whether the fabric and color match the design, how it feels to the touch and texture, how the fabric will fade, and how it will feel when used.

[About handling and maintenance of plant-dyed products]

[Re-dyeing and repair]
Vegetable dyes are not very durable. To ensure that you can enjoy your items for a long time, we maintain them by dyeing them again and again, and repairing them.
Since clothes that have been worn for a long time may have invisible stains, our goal is not to "restore" them to their original state. As a form of maintenance for clothes that will be "worn for a long time," we dye them multiple times to add depth to the color.
This allows the colors to overlap and you can enjoy it for a long time.
In addition, if there are frayed threads, they are repaired, if there are tears, they are reinforced with a patch, and if there are any parts that are too long, they are shortened.
