Tamaya TAMAYA is a flower shop led by a Japanese floral designer.

With the original intention of "making flowers a part of daily life", we hope that through the collision of different cultures, Yuwu Garden will become a bridge for flower art exchanges between Taiwan and Japan. Through the approachable and seasonal floral design, flowers and The beauty of plants has entered the lives of more people.

Ryu, the store manager of Yuya, is a floral designer from Tokyo.
At the age of 15, he began to learn traditional Japanese ikebana. He went to Europe to study and study, and served as the deputy store manager of a well-known flower shop in Japan. Graduated from the Flower Design Department of JTFD Japan Floral Academy, and has Sogetsu teacher certification. As I often traveled back and forth to Taiwan during work, I gradually fell in love with this land and felt the difference in flower culture between Japan and Taiwan. In 2021, I decided to go to Taiwan to start my own flower art business in another place, hoping that more people can feel the change of seasons and the small beauty in life through flowers in their daily life.

——I think there are many similarities between brilliant fireworks and flowers, such as the shape of the blooming flowers and the fleeting beauty, so I took the name of the store as "TAMAYA", which means "Tamaya". In Japan, people shout "た—ま—や—!" when they see fireworks.
I also hope that the flower culture can bloom in Taiwan and spread like fireworks so that more people can know about it.
