When we took our bicycle to Iceland in 2015, we sent the bicycle to the local friend's house for the first week to go hiking in the middle.
"Landmannalaugar-Porsmork trekking tours" (open season is from July to September in summer) This hiking route can be said to be comparable to the Inca trail in Peru. It is a world-famous hiking route. At 600 meters above sea level, we descended to Porsmork in the south, and it took four days to complete the journey. We only walked two days before to the campsite at Lake Alftavatn, and then took a bus back to the capital.
In 2018, Alashi returned to Iceland to complete the last two days of the route to make up for our unfinished section in 2015!
