Triangle HAORI, KIMONO jacket -Silk-Wool, light Purple

A triangle HAORI, a KIMONO jacket with a unique design that combines the idea of a stole over the shoulder and a HAORI. HAORI: A short jacket, worn over a KIMONO. Folds easily and neatly into small packages. Once you get used to it, you don't need to place it on the table to fold it. This is a MADE-TO-ORDER item. It is partly pre-sewn and ready to be made. After receiving your order, we will start the finishing process of hand sewing. At the moment, the clothes are expected to be completed in 1-2 weeks. The number of days may vary depending on the production status. It is a thin silk-wool with little firmness. The pattern looks like feathers or trees on the pale purple base. I think this is an arrangement of the WAKAMATSU (young pine tree) pattern. A young pine tree is considered to be one of the auspicious patterns because of its freshness and the way it will grow up. The fabric has a mysterious coloration of pale purple with light blue-green like a haze. As a new experiment, I will not put straps on the front of the HAORI but will attach a pin brooch made of the same fabric. This way, you can adjust the position of the pin brooch to fit your size or replace it with your favorite brooch. These brooches will be available for sale during March. Traditional dyeing may easily fade and transfer colors. In general, we recommend dry cleaning. However, the artist personally washes them by hand. Silk, for example, may change the texture or damage the fabric, but I personally prefer to wash with water. I think washing in water is the most comfortable way to wear it. Please Wash it at your own discretion. There is a case of using vintage fabric or unraveled kimono fabric. In that case, the fabric may be more easily damaged. A scrap of cloth is temporarily fastened to the laundry tag.
