The drawstring bag that Daikokuten holds is said to bring good fortune. It is also called "Fukuro" (lucky bag = Fukuro), and it also means that "even accumulated hardships will bring good fortune."

A mino is a garment made of straw or thatch to protect oneself from the cold and rain. A hidden mino is a mysterious item that appears in old tales and is said to make one invisible to others when worn, and is also said to be a treasure of the Tengu.
