Use and Care of Futagami
1. To restore luster, use commercially available metal polish and polishing cloth to wipe.
2. Bronze will oxidize over time and may produce a little green rust (non-toxic and harmless).
Cleaning method: Mix vinegar and salt in equal proportions, after dissolving, wipe the patina with a cloth dipped in the mixture, and finally wash it with detergent and dry it with a dry cloth.
In 2000, Japan's economy was in recession, and many traditional industries such as Futagami lost to market changes and came to an end. In such an atmosphere, of course, some factories tried to seek designers to help change and meet market demand, but this phenomenon is not in the design. In the eyes of Shi Dazhi and General Dian, this is not a fundamental solution.
Futagami Nigami Co., Ltd. was established in 1897. It was originally a traditional factory made of Takaoka Bronze(specific to Takaoka City, Fuji, Japan) as a temple bell. The manager, Nigami Ladbo, started a bottle opener for six craftsmen when he met Dazhi Shogun. Before the project, I also planned to close the factory. At the beginning of the project, even Mr. Ergami was alone in the factory. Later, due to the success of the plan and the complete brand plan of Mr. Dazhi, orders from all over the world made Futagami's excellent casting skills. to survive.

- Listing Summary
- Unlike general painting and electroplating, the bookends use traditional Bronze coloring techniques, in which black dye is mixed with raw lacquer to form a rich and delicate texture. The shape of FUNDO is an old Japanese weight, which was used to measure silk or silver coins in the Edo period, and is still used as a map symbol for marking banks. KOMAGATA is based on the shape of the Japanese shogi "koma".
