I create my works based on the traditional Japanese craft of Ikkanbari. Ikkanbari is a method of decorating a basket product with white washi paper, then decorating it with colored washi paper or cloth, and finally applying persimmon tannins and water-based varnish. It is a craft that requires finishing. Many of the pieces use old fabrics and paper, but my work uses more everyday materials. The flower lover pattern is painted on black washi paper and then made sharp with felt. The inside and the surrounding area are made of two different shades of blue. Two types of cloth drawstring bags are included so that you can change the look when using the bag. The handle is covered with brown cloth with silver thread.
