Sketch the street for a moment
"When you stop, you will find that there are many things to see in this place." Hong Kong's streetscapes are disappearing rapidly, and urban sketchers seem to be racing against time, racing against time to create street portraits.
Whether it is the street signs, meat stalls, crowds of people in the painting, or even the location of the painting, such as the Yau Ma Tei parking lot that has been relocated, they are all scenes that cannot be grasped. Perhaps among the bustling streets, the only constant is the unique quality of life in Hong Kong: orderly in chaos, fresh, fast, and especially exciting.
The work was originally published in the Autumn 2021 issue of "Only Hong Kong"
