Yet in exploring the ocean, there are still some mysterious uncharted waters. In this season, CLAVE moves the scene into the deep sea. The dark sea, more than 1,000 meters deep, cannot be reached by sunlight. The dark waters occupy 85% of the entire ocean and so far, we only know little about them. Because of the water pressure and the darkness, the harsh environment without human traces harbors a lot of deep sea creatures. Their bodies have evolved into peculiar structures and are self-luminous with grotesque and interesting appearances. CLAVE applies unbounded imagination in the fantasy journey, and with the unique design of the shoes, CLAVE will connect you with the mysterious world. Due to water pressure and lack of lights, creatures do not grow as abundantly and nourished in deep sea as those in shallow sea. All resources in deep sea are quite valuable while large animals such as the whales which die and fall onto the bottom of the sea to become the major source of food for many deep sea creatures. However it is not easy to wait for the bodies of such gigantic creatures, so any small fish, even the bones, can become excellent source of food for deep sea creatures. This is natural process for food chain; but for humans who exploit in fishing and destroy the ecology, it is said that seafood will become distinct by 2060. This may be a sarcastic legend but it is also the inspiration for the origin of THE DEEP series.
