Hand-woven wool long stole, Spring riverside

This long merino wool stole is hand-woven using the Saori weaving technique, evoking the hazy riverbank scenery of spring. It incorporates the changing colors of a gentle flowing river and the colors of blooming spring flower lover. The light blue at the bottom is a fairly bold color, but the rest are woven to have a soft, hazy look. The size is about 40cm x 200cm (width x length). (including 1cm fringe and 6cm tassel) and weighs 190g. After weaving, the fabric is washed thoroughly (shrunk), so there may be slight differences in width. It has a soft texture. It's a long size, so you can enjoy different looks depending on how you wrap it. ◎ "Saori weaving" is a hand weaving technique invented by Misao Shiro of Japan. All weaving is done as a form of self-expression, in a human, free and respectful way, with an emphasis on individuality and sensibility. It is made using yarn-dyed wool yarn. ________________________ Origin / Production method Japan / Handmade ◎Light hand washing at home is recommended. ◎Please avoid washing machines, dryers and bleach. ◎Avoid using hot water or rubbing. Gently shake or press the garment in water or lukewarm water (0-30°C) mixed with a "neutral detergent" (such as Acron or Emeral, detergent for delicates). Gently rinse twice, remove excess water with a towel, reshape, and dry in the shade (total process takes 2-3 minutes). After wiping off the water, lightly iron it and then hang it out to dry for a nice finish. ◎ Iron on medium heat using a pressing cloth. If you are storing it for a long period of time, it is best to store it with a desiccant or insect repellent. ◎A simple instruction manual in either Japanese or English will be enclosed with your purchase.
