In a moonlit night, the moon directly shines its light on the surface of “Anodat” pond. The reflection of the moon could be clearly seen and is way more beautiful than the everyday moon we gaze in the sky. The waves move the water and the reflected moon in perfect way. When the breeze, touches each lotus as they bloom to get a share of moonlight, the unique gentle aroma of the flowers feels so refreshing and unforgettable. This is the inspiration of developing this fragrance called “Chanalaj”. It is said in a Thai literature that this scent could go for miles, as far as the peak of “Krailat” mountain, which is the dwelling place of the god, Shiva. The heart of “Chanalaj” is mainly made of lotus aroma, which has a unique herbal scent. It is a refreshing scent from lotus flowers while blooming for moonlight in a moonlit night, which is finer than the scent during the day. Normally, lotus flowers will not bloom at night, but rarely, when there is enough moonlight, the lotus will beautifully bloom. “Chanalaj” then represents the scent of blooming lotus during a moonlit night, which is unique and unforgettable, like a white gorgeous lotus diffusing its aroma in the “Anodat” pond throughout the night.
