The first sheared wool of Cheviot sheep from the Outer Hebrides Islands in Scotland is hand-twisted and then dyed using plants such as bearberry, blackthorn, bilberry, and ligustrum, and is hand-twisted in the homes of the islanders. The treadle loom is used for weaving. After completion, each roll of fabric is inspected by a professional organization and given a unique number. All this ensures that Harris Tweed is a unique fabric in the world.
If you look closely at the surface of the Harris Tweed fabric, you can still see dead grass mixed in. Please don't mind, just think of it as a greeting from the Outer Hebrides.

The fabric is made of Harris Tweed rough pattern, and a dark plaid pattern "intertwined" by heather, moss, lakes and mountains is selected.
