In the fashion industry, surplus fabric stock often goes unused, leading to regrettable waste disposal due to rapid collection turnover. One solution is repurposing these materials for continued use. Our SunnyCotton Upcycled Organic Jersey fabric, made from excess Chantelle lingerie fabric, meets the stringent standards of the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), ensuring both sustainability and gentle touch on the skin. All our Upcycled Organic Jersey fabrics are now designed to be NON water-repellent to allow exceptional breathability, suitable for light flow days. You can feel free to wear either side as a top. One side features an unbleached off-white cotton gauze, retaining menstrual blood visibility, while the other side provides the luxurious comfort of French lingerie. (*Non-water-repellent version lacks an inner waterproof layer, suitable for light to medium flow days or frequent pad changes.) Soak used cloth in an open container and change water daily or dry-store in a well-ventilated bag or container. 2. Before washing, soak cloth to dissolve blood residue. **Avoid using warm or hot water while blood residues remain.** 3. Apply soap on remaining blood stains and let it sit for 20 minutes or soak for 1-6 hours. The soap reacts with blood stains until they dissolve. 4. Wash as usual or machine wash (use a laundry bag) with warm or hot water once blood stains are removed. 5.
