【Introduction to tatting】consists of 3 classes, reservations available on every Sunday 14:30 – 16:30, 2 hours for each class, total 6 hours. You need to complete all 3 classes within 6 weeks from the first class. Please ensure you can work within the time frame before registration. You are only required to select the time slot for your first class. Please make note of the dates for all 3 classes in the “Notes” field. 【Introduction to tatting】 ＊ Background of tatting ＊ Tatting – tools and materials ＊ Get to know the basic structure of tatting ＊ Get to know the basic techniques of tatting – making rings, chains and joining picots ＊ Depending on the progress of individuals, can complete 3 – 4 pieces of tatting motifs ＊ There will be homework that you need to complete after the class. New project will start in the next class. 【Important notes】 Introduction to tatting welcome anyone without experience. All we need is your passion. The class will cover from the very basic, and work our way from simple patterns to slightly more complicated ones. However, we encourage you to practice between classes so we can achieve more effective results. 3-4 motifs can be taught during the classes. However, the actual completion of these motifs depends on the progress of individuals. We do not guarantee the completion of any projects. 【Fee details】 ＊ The fee includes the fee of the teacher, one set of starter kit, material necessary for the class and the use of any tools provided by the teacher. If you need to purchase extra tools and materials, you can purchase them on site. ＊ Discount for 2 person – discount $300 for each The two persons must attend all 3 classes together. If one person is absent from the class, there will not be any makeup classes. ＊ Registration – up to 3 days before the class ＊ After registration and up to 3 days before the class, full refund can be made after deducting the bank charges. ＊ Within 3 days before the class, there will be NO refund. However, you can reschedule classes and the first class must start within one month of your original start date. ＊ After the class has started (1 or 2 classes completed), there will be NO refund. However, you can reschedule classes provided all 3 classes are completed within 6 weeks from the first class. Tatting lace is a lace making technique with over 100 years of history. An elegant piece of lace is made with cotton thread through the fingers of the designer, holding small shuttles. Although this is an old art in the Western world, it was only introduced to Asia in recent years. The design of tatting lace has evolved to the next level, revealing how an old technique can produce modern designs. Tatting uses special cotton thread that are strong and durable. Although tatted lace looks light and delicate, it is very durable. With proper care, it can definitely become an heirloom.
