Fox fires are mysterious flames that look like lanterns or torches that appear in a row in places where there is no fire, and they light and go out, and once they have gone out, the flames appear in a different place. It is said that even if you try to find out what they are, they always go out halfway.
One theory about its true identity is that the fox's breath is glowing, or that the fox is beating its tails together to create fire, or that a ball called a "kitsune fire ball" that the fox holds is glowing.
