Antique Vintage Friesian Dutch Wall Clock 8 day (Warmink Wuba era) - Clocks - Wood Brown

Product Description

This is a Dutch Friesian Schippertje antique/vintage wall clock. These type of clocks were called Schippertje (means Skipper), because these clocks were used on Dutch boats. This serviced clock works perfectly. This is a very rare model because it has a GONG chime instead of a bell chime. This because they were able to keep running as the boat was rocking because of the sea. Later on, the Dutch were fond of this design and bought them to hang them in their house on the wall. These clocks were very popular in the 1960s. The traditional Dutch clock chimes on the half and full hour (chimes beautifully). A hammer is beating on a drum. It’s weight driven by two brass weights. Also, this clock has a moonphase function. As you can see on the photos, this clock is made by the best materials. The height of the clock is about 70 (including ornaments) centimeter and the width is 21,5 centimeter. In inches: the height is 24" inches, the width is 7" inches. We offer free worldwide shipping. And we provide track & trace. If you have any questions, please email us.
