Tagua, a palm plant of Central and South America, is like an enlarged version of the Tagua fruit of the durian, with milky white seeds, also known as ivory (Tagua). The origin of its name is because after the fruit is dried, its texture, milky white color, touch and hardness are as beautiful as ivory. In the early years when the petrochemical industry was underdeveloped, Tagua was the best material used in the world's apparel industry to make buttons. After the development of the petrochemical industry, Tagua's industry has gradually declined. Until now, only Indians have continued to use this special medium through the art creation, carving and jewelry production of Tauga.
Look at the handmade ornaments that are hand-honed and plant-dyed.
It is not so brilliant and beautiful :)
