Calendar History:
Engraved with Bigelow's rare pre-patent number. Manufactured by Brown & Bigelow for the Nachtegall Manufacturing Company of Michigan. On July 16, 1929, Brown and Bigelow received US Patent No. 1,720,774 for this calendar design. They filed for a patent on November 9, 1927, for the calendar, which had dates between 1927 and 1929, and after the patent was issued, Brown and Bigelow began printing patent numbers on the newly manufactured calendar.
How to use:
The calendar needs to be flipped manually, flipping the top will change the number of days. The actual flip number plate is made of tin, and the overall operation is very regular, and the month and day can also be changed on the base disc. When flipping to the last day a text "Time Cannot Afface Good Works or Good Deeds" will appear and the numbers will start over again from 1-31.
