Kyoto Ginger Hoji tea is a blend of ginger grown without the use of agricultural chemicals during the growing period in our group's fields in Fukuchiyama, Kyoto, and organic hojicha from a long-established since 1751 tea brewery in Uji, Japan.
The ginger is not too strong and has a gentle taste.
Ginger is grown by 30-40 days fermented plant based fertilizer, not using animal droppings.
Hot: warms the body. It tastes refreshing on ice.
The taste is easy to match with sweets and dishes since the ginger is not too spicy compared to ordinary ginger tea. Hoji tea is caffeinless, so it is recommended to drink before going to bed as well.
