Nanbu tekki Gen Kuzumaki's handmade cast iron kettle futon shape kasumi 1.5L - Teapots & Teacups - Other Metals Brown

Product Description

This tetsubin is handmade by the foundry craftsman Gen Kuzumaki. Each piece is carefully finished using traditional techniques. A futon type is a round rug used by monks and trainee monks for meditation, and it is said that the name "futon type" came from this. It is a style iron kettle that is simple and modern and easy to use. The surface of the iron kettle has a skin pattern that gives you a feeling of the original texture of casting. It has a luxurious and beautiful finish. The skin pattern refers to the iron skin without a pattern. The lid also has a skin pattern. The knob on the lid is designed like a flower bud. The picking of a lid is decorated with a hole called "Mushikui" . "Mushikui" gives the piece a withered appearance and a sense of deep richness peculiar to the Japanese, as well as a sense of splendor. This tetsubin produces an vintage look. It represents a beautiful withered color that is not just gorgeous. In Japan, it is called "wabisabi". The handle is twisted as a one-point accent. The inside is not enamel processed. The boiling water will be mellow. Nambu ironware is produced using the traditional technique called "kama-yaki" to generate an oxide layer on the surface. It leads to "rust resistance" and "dissolved iron effect" and makes tea and coffee taste better. The water boiled in Nanbu iron kettle tastes mellow and sweet even when drunk straight.
