This earring is handmade by Thai artisans in Sterling Silver. The shape is inspired by traditional Thai flower pattern. The surface is treated in order to obtain scratch texture. It is a very elegant, light piece that can easily be worn everyday or for special occasions. Our products are hand crafted by Thai Karen hill-tribe artisans by means of traditional tools and techniques. The Karen are a group of ethnic peoples who reside primarily in southern and southeastern Burma and in northern and north-eastern Thailand. Thai and Burmese hill tribes can be traced back to the 12th century when they are said to have originated from Tibet. The product comes with traditional Thai cloth packaging (it might be different than the one on the photo, depending on what we currently have in stock) and includes tracking number for safer shipping.
