The Tibetan Double Dorje, known as lightning, is a diamond sceptre that cuts through illusions, destroys negativity and brings balance. It is one of the most interesting, capacious and harmonious symbols. In Buddhism, vajra symbolizes, first of all, the indestructible and perfect nature of all beings - Buddha-nature. The Tibetan name for vajra is Dorje, which literally means "king of all stones," or diamond. The central part in the form of a ball symbolizes the original Buddha nature of every being.
