As a society of immigrants, Taiwan's daily life seems to be a microcosm of the convergence of various cultures. In my memory, I can always see the glittering and colorful wild stage operas being performed in the past. There is no realism that relies too much on technology, and some are more humane and skilled craftsmen. Compared with the ordinary street buildings, it is a surreal representation that is eye-catching, allowing you to travel through the magical moments brought about by the straightforward and vigorous scenery painting, and at the same time show the lively vitality of Taiwanese folk culture.
Printing is the main design theme of this series of Haoyou Tianxian, which is based on Taiwanese folk wild stage scenery. The background of the stage widely uses elements such as landscapes, clouds, mist, or Chinese palaces. One of the printings transforms these elements and adds folk custom elements. Sensual fairies and lotus flowers are combined with colorful tones to reinterpret the style of the scenery with a more modern approach based on folk customs.
