The Date Capsule is not an automaton, date-change requires manual operation via the button-lock mechanism. ------ Design Concept The Date Capsule is a pocket-size calendar for displaying any date you like. Through manual input, you can easily change the day, date, and month shown in a few seconds. This device was conceived as a tangible way to capture fleeting moments of time, an elegant token that can complement any living space and attire. Every Date Capsule is in-house assembled by hand. The Date Capsule is part of the craft collection. ------ Style - Jardin Exhibitory greenhouse miniature inspired by Europe’s Art Nouveau architecture in late 1800s to early 1900s. Made to remind of tranquil mornings inside a botanical garden, basking in gentle sun rays. See more styles, such as Empire, Halcyon, and Cyberpunk, in our online store. ------ How To Use To change the date, press down the top button, then turn the button 40 degrees clockwise to lock its position. The date wheels are now unlocked for date-change. While you are facing the front display panel, use your fingers to turn each wheel through the back opening. When all the characters are centre-aligned to your desired date, turn the top button 40 degrees anti-clockwise to unlock the button’s position, then release the button so it pops up to the original standby position. The date wheels are successfully locked to your set date. You can hang the Date Capsule by threading a string through the eyelet located at the top button.
