What is paracord made of?
It is a nylon rope that complies with the US military Mil-C-5040H specification and was widely used during World War II. We use TYPE III 550 paracord, which is made of 32-36 strands of nylon thread as a rope sheath and 7-9 inner cores. The rope sheath can bear a load of 200 pounds, and each inner core can bear a load of 50 pounds, which make up the 500-pound tension value of the paracord (approximately 249 kilograms).
What are the benefits of nylon material? Super durable, not afraid of water absorption or mold!
There is no need to worry about water damage, mold, or difficulty in cleaning with long-term use. Just rinse it with clean water regularly and leave it in a cool place to dry naturally. You can easily keep it clean and help you get through your busy day!
