Automatic Wooden Watch

https://youtu.be/3bkoFNGm7-U For this automatic movement wooden watch, we used three kinds of wood in our design: Grenadilla, maple, carbonized maple Grenadilla, also know as African Blackwood or Mozambique Ebony, is one of the most economically valuable timbers in the world. It is dense and lustrous, once polish, it exhibits a beautiful deep reddish to pitch black finish. This type of wood is traditionally used to make high end furniture and musical instruments. The color of maple is beige/ off-white to white. This wood is compact, with a uniform texture and beautiful grain pattern, easy to polish and paint, so it is often used in interior decoration. Carbonised maple is maple that has been treated by vacuuming, heating / cooling and humidity adjustment. After the maple wood is carbonized, the moisture and lipids in the wood are volatilized, and the hardness and stability of the maple wood enhanced. The colour deepens to a warm brown, and becomes very consistent after carbonisation. Commonly used in interior decoration, flooring, musical instrument and furniture, etc. This watch is structurally water resistant up to 3 ATM, so there is absolutely no problem in everyday wear. If it gets wet/dirty, simply wipe it with a cloth and let it air dry. We protect the wood with natural wood wax (main ingredient being bees wax, skin contact safe), as long as the wood is not washed with soapy or hot water it will not be affected. We use sapphire glass as the watch crystal . This material is resistant to wear and scratches. It has a Moh's hardness scale of 9, which is higher than ordinary glass. The case back also has a special see-through design, allowing you to observe the self-winding movement.
