Brand Story:
The history of Kremenz jewelry began in the 1860s when George Kremenz founded his company in Newark, New Jersey. At the same time, the initial goal was to manufacture men's jewelry, such as collar clips and cuff links and buttons.
In 1920, the company began producing women's jewelry. Necklaces, brooches, and other types of women's jewelry quickly became popular, and by the 1930s, Krementz began selling its products internationally.
By 1886, they turned to using gold setting to create jewelry, using thin layers of gold plating to achieve a higher quality. The thickness of gold plating used by Krementz jewelers was 30 times thicker than that commonly used in the manufacture of expensive jewelry brands. The purpose was to make a difference between jewelry and precious jewelry. In addition, Krementz created products during the Art Nouveau and Art Deco eras, and there are many outstanding jewelry examples from this period. Their excellent condition attests to excellent quality. So all of this makes Krementz very valuable to collectors.
