"The mood of shapes"
I drew many favorite shapes of utensils, symbolizing utensils from various eras, and compiled them into a small book.
The discovery utensils are endless. I thought that the familiar appearance did not require further exploration, but when I imagined the prototype out of thin air, it was so blurry. It turns out that the lines, thickness and texture are memorized through visual and tactile sensations.
Lines, proportions, and mouth edges can accidentally cross ethnic groups. Yearning for the shape of a vessel that symbolizes an era, but then going to the other side during production, is the awkwardness and coordination of living in this era.
The atmosphere exuded by the still life can be felt in the space.
