The young jeweler used a very special technique to plate 18K or 14K gold foil on brass plates to make jewelry. it is easy to be mistaken for real gold jewelry. In 1893, Auguste Savard took over his father's company. Only then he did register a unique trademark with the authorities, making a beautiful mark for FIX's high-quality but affordable gold jewelry.
