Legend has it that the warriors of the Taiwanese aboriginal Thao found a whole body white snow in a hunt, like a white deer with snow flakes. In order to hunt down this beautiful and elegant white deer, day and night work hard, in the mountains, in the valley, in the clouds, on the riverside, the pace of the warriors in the mountains of each inch, followed the white deer three days and three nights.
Finally, this elegant white deer led the warriors to a quiet and secluded lake and turned away. The warriors took a closer look and found that the lake was like a peach blossom, with beautiful scenery and fertile land. From then on, the people of the tribe settled here and became the new stronghold of the tribe. This quiet lakeside is known to everyone today-----Sun Moon Lake.
